Where did you grow up and how did that shape you to work at YVH?

I grew up in Murrumbateman and from the age of 10 I got my first horse. Growing up my family always had pets, usually dogs, cats and horses and the occasional bird. 

Leaving school, like many people I had no idea what I wanted to do. For a few years I worked as a groom for a local dressage rider until a friend suggest I should try veterinary nursing. That was over 8 years ago and I'm still loving it.

What qualifications do you have?

I have my certificate IV in veterinary nursing.

Why do you like working at YVH?

Every day is different, and you never really know what's going to come through the doors next and seeing different types of animals makes it really interesting. 

The team at YVH is amazing. Everyone is very supportive and great to work with!

What do you do in your spare time?

When I'm not working at YVH you can find me hanging with friends, competing my horses or camping.
