Where did you grow up and how did your childhood shape you to work at Yass Valley Veterinary?

Grew up in Sydney (primary school), Southern Highlands for high school. Parents had a hobby farm with sheep, had the obligatory dog and horse. This flamed the fire I always had for becoming a vet (hands on experience).

What qualifications do you have?

Bachelor vet science

Diploma in leadership and management

Why do you like working at Yass valley veterinary?

Get to see lots of different cases, treat everything! Get to do the things I like (orthopaedics, small animal dentistry, behaviour) that challenges me, but get to cuddles puppies as well.

Really great bunch of people, nice to work with friends.

What you like doing in your spare time?

Renovating our house

Relaxing with a glass of wine

Going to the theatre and musicals when covid allows.

Doing sheep and cattle work on the farm.

What pets do you have?

Rosie – jack Russell, 4yo

Molly – mastiff, 6yo

Maisy – sausage dog, 2yo

Steel – border collie, 7yo

Mo – boder collie, 9yo

Hereford cattle, merino sheep.
