PRACTICE MANAGER | COMMENCED FEBRUARY 2002

I grew up in Yass with my parents and older sister where I was always surrounded by horses, dogs and cattle. From when I was young I remember always admiring the work of our local Vet Peter Gibbs when he would come and treat our pets and livestock. Once I finished school I went on to study Veterinary Nursing at CIT in Canberra and started working with a specialist Veterinary surgeon. I enjoyed learning and working in Canberra however I missed the interaction with the larger animals so when a position became available at Yass Valley Veterinary I jumped at the chance.

My qualifications include Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing, Certificate IV Training & Assessment and Certificate IV in Practice management. 

The reason I like working at Yass Valley Veterinary is that I enjoy helping others- this includes helping other staff and especially clients and their beloved pets. 

In my spare time I enjoy horse riding, holidaying with family and spending time with my two dogs, Lexi the Kelpie & Winnie the Irish Terrier and Quarter horse McTavish.
