Where did you grow up and how did your childhood shape you to work at YVV? 

I grew up in the tourist town of Port Douglas in Far North Queensland and I have always had dogs as pets even though I am (ironically) quite allergic to dogs… worth it! I have always been taught to treat animals with the same level of empathy and respect as people and this is exemplified in my work at YVV.

What qualifications do you have? 

I am a graduate from the Australian National University and am currently completing a historical manuscript for publication!

Why do you like working at Yass Valley Veterinary?

No day is ever the same as Yass Valley Veterinary and I certainly love the challenge of managing every situation that comes our way!

What you like doing in your spare time? 

I am an avid bibliophile (Noun: a person who collects or has a great love of books) so reading is definitely my favourite pastime when I am not at work!

What pets do you have?

I have a Blue Heeler X who is named after my favourite AFL player… Dusty Martin!
