COMMENCED DECEMBER 2009

I was very lucky to have a very multicultural upbringing. I have lived in Canberra, Yass, Malaysia and Vanuatu and travelled in between. I was exposed to variable social demographics and saw how this can affect standards of animal care which became a reason to be a vet. I had an initial interest in the equine industry alone but soon extended this interest to other animals. We always had pets no matter where we were in the world and I would not be without them.

I have a Bachelor of Applied Science in Equine Science from CSU in Wagga and a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Hons) and a Bachelor of Science (Hons) from the University of Sydney.

I like working at Yass Valley Veterinary because we have a fabulous team that get along very well and always do their very best. Working at YVV encourages me to develop my skills and increase my knowledge which helps me to become a better vet. Small animals have become my focus in further education but I still enjoy treating large animals as well.

In my spare time is usually spent relaxing and socialising in between dealing with the menagerie at home- though the menagerie is a lot smaller now than it has been in recent years. 4 horses, 5 dogs and 2 cats are current members.
